Understanding Your Chakras
The Chakras has been understood as a mysterious power center for energy for a long time. Though there are many different claims as to who discovered the Chakra System, the earliest known recordings of the Chakras in history goes back to the ancient text called the Vedas around 1500 to 500 BC.

There are many beliefs about what the Chakras look like as they are not visible to the human eye. Some believe they give off the general shape of a cone due to the swirling cortex of Chi that flow into them and out from them. Some people believe the Chakras are more of a disk shape, spherical, and some equate them to resemble the shapes of flowers. Regardless of how you feel your chakras look, the fact remains the same; these powerful energy centers play an important role in our wellness and quality of life.

There are 7 main Chakras, 21 minor chakras, and 86 micro chakras in the human body. We mainly focus on the 7 main chakras; Muladhara (Root), Swadhisthana (Sacral), Manipura (Solar Plexus), Anahata (Heart), Vishuddha (Throat), Ajna (Third Eye), and Sahasrara (Crown). These Chakra points in the body take in Chi (raw vital life force energy) from the universe, filters, and converts it into a form that the cellular body can use.

Some of the commonly known practices that work with the Chakras are, Reiki, Subtle Touch, Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Yoga, Meditation, Essential Oils, Pranayama, Tai Chi, Sound Therapy, Chromotherapy, and Crystal healing.
What is the Biofield?

The biofield is comprised of measurable electromagnetic frequencies (Chi) and is the energy field that interacts around and interpenetrates the human body. It is an extension of the soul expression, in essence, part of what you are. Your Chakra's work with, influence, and are influenced by these electromagnetic frequencies.
Healing and wellness practices that work directly with the Biofield and Chakras have been around for thousands of years in many cultures and use a myriad of modalities and techniques to aid in the healing process and wellness.
The Essence of Who You Are: A Quantum Physical Understanding

To understand how working with the Biofield & Chakras can assist us in our wellness or manifestation goals, we must first understand the basic foundation for life. For who we truly are. The best way to do this is to deconstruct what you were taught about who and what you are. You are not just your molecular body, as you may believe. Your cells are made of molecules, those molecules are made of Atoms, those atoms are made up of subatomic particles, and those subatomic particles are Energy. So the core foundation of who you are and essentially what everything is, is Energy. We see this in Quantum physics and the early writings of Pythagoras (6th century B.C.E.), and the work of Schrödinger’s quantum mechanics where we gain an understanding that atoms and molecules are electromagnetic waves. There are many other great minds that have come to the same consensus and reveal just what an amazing miracle we truly are. Expressions of energy with such powerful intentions that we create material reality by focusing the interactions of these waves.

Carl-Gustav Jung (a world renowned psychologist) eluded to this quantum phenomenon with his work that focused on the realm of reality that consists of non-material things, of which we are all interconnected through a collective consciousness. As energy is a wave of information, it is understandable how we are all one and connected in this vast system of energetic waves.

We are bio-electromagnetic beings, even our bones are piezoelectric. Piezoelectric materials are capable of stimulating healing and regeneration in the physiological electrical microenvironment. With this understanding, it shows the importance of working directly with our energy centers, the Chakras, and our biofield.
Working With the Biofield & Your Energetic Body Through the Chakras
The 7 main Chakras are found along the spine and are your body's main energy centers where Chi (or Prana) flows in, out, and through each chakra in the same way our blood flows in, out, and through our heart. With each breath, each moment, we receive and send out Chi. A wave of pure life-force energy. Each chakra manages specific vital aspects of our existence and our bodily functions, which allow us to live in optimal wellness. The peak of this wellness takes our existence and experiences to another level, where co-creation happens, where we are able to grow into the best version of ourselves. Where we manifest our desires into our physical reality. Here we find success, happiness, health, vitality, security, creativity, authenticity, intuitive powers, love, and abundance.

I take a unique approach to my Biofield & Chakra Revitalization practice by utilizing my own unique form of Energy healing which includes elements from Reiki, Crystals, Chromotherapy, and Sound therapies in my sessions to provide the Chakras and our Biofield with everything they need to jumpstart homeostasis.
